For its second year under new ownership and at the new Laguna Seca Golf Ranch location, Concorso Italiano continues to grow. With the numerous other events on the Monterey Peninsula leading up to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Concorso Italiano is one of the few that caters to late model vehicles – although it does also celebrate Italian classics.
Dominated by Ferraris, there are actually too many to count, with even numerous versions of rare models like the F430 Scuderia Spider 16M on display. Notable models included a black 458 Italia and a very black Enzo. This year’s Concorso also featured a Ferrari F40 reunion.
While significantly smaller in number, the display of Lamborghini models certainly was not lacking in variety, with plenty of wildly colored Lambos. Along with some more highly customized models (including some pretty tacky versions), there were also some shiny new models on display, including several Murcielago LP670-4 SVs and one very new Gallaro LP570-4 Superleggera.
